Updated over 3 months ago

Web forms are a powerful tool that allows you to collect information from your website visitors easily and efficiently. When integrated with Call Loop, web forms can automatically add contacts to your Call Loop lists, enabling you to engage with your audience through SMS, voice messages, and ringless voicemails. This guide explains how web forms work and how you can use them with Call Loop.

What Are Web Forms?

Web forms are HTML forms on your website where visitors can enter information, such as their name, email address, phone number, and other relevant details. These forms can be used for various purposes, including lead generation, event registrations, newsletter sign-ups, and more.

Step 1: Create Your Web Form Message

Head over to Web Forms and create the button to create a new web form.

First give your form a title, then type in the first SMS text message you want people to receive when they fill out your webform.

Compliance message (Recommended)

We highly recommend enabling this to include the proper compliant message information in your initial text message. This ensures that you remain compliant when people join your list.

Double opt-in (Recommended)

When someone submits your form, this will prompt the contact to reply Yes to confirm their opt-in to your list. When they reply Yes, they will be confirmed and you will be able to send them a text message.

If they do not reply Yes, then they will remain in an "unsubscribed" status and you won't be able to message these contacts until they reply Yes to confirm.

Step 2: Create Your Form

You are able to collect many pieces of information on your form. By default, the phone number is required and you can choose to collect more.

Thank you page

You have the option to show a success message or redirect to another webpage url after submission of your form.

Step 3: Copy Your Webform Code

After you've created your webform, you'll be able to copy the HTML code to place on your website. Copy this code and place it on your website.
