Not sure which version of your text will get more clicks? With A/B split testing, you can send two versions of an SMS broadcast to part of your audience, see which one gets the higher click rate, and send the winner to everyone else.
How A/B Testing Works
You write two versions of your SMS broadcast, Message A and Message B. Call Loop sends them to a test group, a percentage of your contacts that you choose. You also control how that test group is split between Message A and Message B. When the test duration ends, the version with the higher click percentage is automatically sent to the remaining contacts.
Setting Up an A/B Test
Create a new SMS Broadcast and choose your audience as usual.
Turn on the A/B Split Test toggle.
Write Message A and Message B.
In A/B Test Audience, enter the percentage of contacts to include in the test. The rest will receive the winning message.
Under Test duration, use the − and + buttons to set how many hours the test runs (1 to 24).
Under Audience split, drag the slider to divide the test group between Message A and Message B. It starts at 50/50.
Send or schedule the broadcast.
Change only one thing between versions, such as the offer, the opening line, or the call to action. That way you know what made the difference.
Reading Your Results
Open the broadcast's stats page to follow the test. At the top, the A/B Test Result panel shows Message A and Message B side by side, each with its own tracked link and its Total, Clicks, Unsubscribed, and Revenue.
Ending a test early

How the winner is chosen
The winner is the version with the higher click percentage. Replies are not counted toward the result.
