What Is the Trial Test Number?
When a new user signs up for a trial account, they now have access to a test number that allows them to create and send broadcasts and use all other tools. This test number enables users to simulate real-world messaging scenarios while ensuring compliance and transparency.
Key Highlights:
Test Mode Labeling: All messages sent using the test number automatically include a “test mode” label. This acts similarly to a compliance message and cannot be removed during the trial period. It’s clearly visible in message previews and sent messages.
Pre-Configured Demo Keyword: Each trial account is provisioned with a demo keyword. While users can customize the message text, recipient list, and more, the keyword itself is locked to prevent changes during the trial.
Full Data Capture Support: Even during the trial period, users can experience Call Loop’s data capture capabilities. This includes collecting user information like first name and last name through interactive SMS flows.
How It Works
Create a Broadcast: Start by selecting the test number when creating a new broadcast. The preview will show how the message appears with the “test mode” label.
Use the Demo Keyword: Copy the system-generated demo keyword to trigger your automated flows. While you can customize associated messages, the keyword name itself is fixed during the trial.
Engage and Collect Data: Send messages, interact with replies (e.g., name capture), and view subscriber data—all in real-time.
Track Performance: Monitor delivery stats, view new contacts (like “Max Johnson” in the demo), and verify that your messages are being delivered and responses recorded.
Transition to a Paid Plan: Once you upgrade to a monthly plan, the demo keyword and test number are removed, and you can start using your own keywords and numbers without any “test mode” limitations.
