NEW! Click Tracking & Short URLs

Updated this week

Have a long URL that you want to not so long? Well, now with our Short URLs feature, you can shorten your long links and track the clicks. Let me show you how it works...

How to Shorten Your Links

When creating your SMS text message, just drop in your URL and hover over the link. You'll see an option to "Shorten link" and click it.

🤯 Boom! You now have a short link!

Click Tracking Stats

From your Broadcast, Trigger, or Campaign you'll be able to track the clicks and see down to the contact level, who actually clicked it.

Why You Might See Hashtags After Shortening

After shortening your link, you may notice a few hashtags or extra characters at the end of the link preview.

Don’t worry — those hashtags are not visible to your contacts when they receive your text message.

These hashtags are simply part of our internal tracking system.

They allow us to create a unique tracking code so you can see exactly how many people clicked your link and even who clicked it.

Important Notes:

  • Hashtags are only visible to you, not your customers.

  • They ensure our click tracker works correctly.

  • The message your contacts receive will contain a clean, shortened link.

If You See Hashtags in a Test Message

That makes sense! The reason you’re seeing the hashtags is because you’re using the test option, not sending an actual broadcast.

When you send a real broadcast to your contacts, those hashtags won’t appear in the message.
They only show up during testing since the system doesn’t generate the full tracking data for a test message.

Once you send the live broadcast, the message will go out clean — no hashtags at all. ✨
