Voice Broadcast Results & Errors

Updated over a week ago

Voice Broadcast success rates average around 70%, but your actual delivery rate may vary depending on the quality of your contact list. Invalid numbers, unreachable numbers, restricted regions (non-US/CA), and carrier-blocked lines can all reduce the overall success rate.

Below is a full breakdown of the possible call results and error codes you may see when sending a Voice Broadcast.

  • The number rejects simultaneous incoming calls.

Solutions:

  • Retry the campaign later.

  • Increase the retry count in your broadcast settings (if applicable).

  • Remove numbers that repeatedly return BUSY.

DNC (Do Not Call)

What it means:
The number is listed on a Do Not Call registry.

Possible Causes:

  • The contact’s number is on a federal, state, or internal DNC list.

Solutions:

  • Retry the broadcast at different times of the day.

Possible Causes:

  • A temporary platform issue.

Solutions:

  • Retry the campaign.

  • If the issue repeats, contact Support with the Call ID.

  • Double-check campaign settings before relaunching.

CARRIER_ERROR

What it means:
The local carrier rejected the call.

Possible Causes:

  • The carrier is overloaded or temporarily rejecting high-volume calls.

  • Dialing speed to a specific area is too fast.

  • The phone number is invalid, disconnected, or inactive.

  • The carrier flagged the call as suspicious/spam-like.

Solutions:

  • No action needed — the system will retry.

  • If errors persist, validate the number or reschedule the campaign.

Possible Causes:

  • Weather or regional network issues.

  • Short-term carrier outages or network instability.

  • If errors persist, validate the number or reschedule the campaign.

UNDIALED

What it means:
The system did not attempt to dial this number.

Possible Causes:

  • The number was invalid, incorrectly formatted, or missing digits.

  • The number is outside supported regions (non-US/CA).

  • The number is restricted by campaign settings (e.g., time windows, DNC rules).

  • The system detected a compliance or formatting issue before dialing.

Solutions:

  • Validate the list for format and region.

  • Remove non-US/CA numbers if your plan does not support international calls.

  • Check campaign dialing rules and sending windows.

  • Correct or remove invalid phone numbers.
